I love taking photos, especially of Henry (surprise, surprise!) but rarely print them out. It seems a shame really that the photos just stay on the computer and aren’t shared and enjoyed. So I love the idea of having your own photos printed on canvases. They look so modern, contemporary and make a real change from standard framed photos.
So I was really pleased when I was given the chance to review a canvas from Canvas Dezign, who have been canvas printing for over 10 years. Canvas Dezign is one of the UK’s leading printers of bespoke canvas prints at an affordable price. They have been supplying trade and public customers alike since 2001 and some of their high profile customers have included DVB, BBC and they have recently appeared on ITV's 60 Minute Makeover.
The photo I decided to get printed was of my brother and sister-in-laws wedding day. It was printed onto a small canvas - we didn’t want one too big as they have very limited wall space as they already have a lot of pictures (mainly of dogs and tigers!). The canvas arrived very well packed, and we were all delighted when we opened it to reveal a top quality canvas.
(Please note the colours are brighter than they look in these photos, I was having trouble with my camera!)
The colours and detail were amazing, Alan and Sarah were so happy with it. It came with a free hanging kit (shown above) which was easy to use and attach. The canvas now has pride of place in their living room on the chimney breast. It looks really striking; they are so pleased with it, and get many admiring comments about it. The canvas is quite thick so it stands out well from the wall, and the material feels of a very high quality.
The canvases are priced very reasonably. They start at £10.99 for a 6” x 6” canvas up to a huge 40” x 40” for £120.
