Review

This is the first time I've used a magnetic phone holder and I was rather sceptical about it working, as I  thought my phone would be too heavy for it. I was completely wrong though, the holder held my phone perfectly and the phone stayed in place. I live in a rural area so the roads are very bumpy and bendy, but even when driving over huge pot holes the phone and holder stayed in position on my car air vents.

The car phone holder is very cleverly designed and is a very handy piece of kit. The body of the holder has six powerful magnets that can hold even the heaviest of phones. With it come two metal plates that are used to attach your phone to the holder. The first metal plate is round and is suitable to use if you don't use a phone case - the self adhesive, magnetic plate just sticks to the back of your phone.

The second plate is rectangular and designed to be used with a phone case, the is the one that I used. You just take your phone out of the case, put the magnetic plate in the phone holder then replace your phone into the case. The metal plate is then sandwiched between your phone and the back of your phone case. The case that I use on my phone is quite thick and bulky, but the magnets were very strong and held my phone securely.

The vents in our car (Citroen berlingo) are quite small so I wasn't sure if the holder would fit properly, but it was fine. The prongs fitted easily over the vent, and I just rotated and tightened the back of the holder to make sure my phone was positioned correctly.

This is a great product, I'm really impressed with it. It is a safe and secure way of holding your phone in your car when you want to use it for navigating etc. Five stars!
